Wedding Ceremony Decorating Ideas
When choosing wedding decorations, the space you have chosen will
undoubtedly have its own ambience and influence. Whether it needs to
be transformed into something beautiful, or merely need to
compliment an already spectacular room, the wedding decorations are
an integral part of the planning process.
Wedding decorations can take up a huge chunk of your budget.
Depending on how big the wedding affair is will determine how much
decorations you’ll need and the cost.
Flowers are usually the first choice for decorating. However they
can get quite expensive. If you want to cut down on the decoration
cost, choose single flower centerpieces for tables. Consider large
balloons bouquets for banquet tables.
But before you decide on any type of wedding decoration, you should
decide a theme. This will make it easy to coordinate colors,
centerpieces, drapes and theme idea for your wedding decorating
choices. This makes planning much easier.
Wedding decorations do not need to be overly expensive. In fact
creating your own decorations can save you a lot of money.
Candles
Candles are one of the favorite decorating items, which create a
warm and romantic mood. You can choose from a wide range of variety
available in the market suiting your theme. There are large pillar
candles, floating candles in a nice crystal bowl, a collection of
votive candles in holders of different shape and sizes. Also
available are taper candles, tea lights surrounding a single flower
vase, or gel candles with theme displayed within the candle. Dress
up a long aisle with candelabra and dripping candles. Torches are
particularly dramatic decorations for an outdoor wedding ceremony.
Balloons
Balloon bouquets always look nice. For a less cost than flowers they
are a good alternate option. You can decorate the whole room,
including tables, with small and large bouquets. Use light shade
balloons like white, off –white, ivory.
Real Plants
These decorations are only possible during few seasons. Dwarf
Japanese Maples in the fall season. During winter baby Christmas
trees are a good option. Ferns in the spring while Sculpted topiary
in the summer is the best. After the ceremony you could use the
plants to decorate your new home.
Arches
This is a great decoration for an outdoor wedding or in a private
home. The arches can be simple or ornate , large or small. Look for
arches made out of wood , metal , or even balloons. An arch will
frame you nicely and keep the eyes of your guests focused forward.
Other decorations
Use garlands, streamers, ribbons, and tulle to swag along the table
fronts, doorways, or across the ceiling. Make use of the bridal and
the bridesmaid bouquet to be placed in front of the head table for
extra flower decorations. Also twinkling Christmas lights could be
used across the ceiling.
