When Organising Your Wedding, Don't Leave These Vital Things To The Last Minute!

When organising your wedding, it can be an overwhelming experience trying to get everything sorted in time for your big day. Once you have sorted a venue and got your perfect dress, there are some other vital things that you should not leave until the last minute.

Rings

Some people think that choosing a ring will be a simple experience. But as we discussed prev iously, it can be hard for you and your partner to find ones you both like. It’s great if you both choose a ring which is made from the same material, as they will look great in the wedding photos.

It’s best not to leave rings until the last minute as major things can delay it including cost. They are not cheap, especially if you both want one that is extra special. Some shops can do monthly plans so that you don’t have to pay it all in one go. Another thing that can cause delays is your size. If you have an above or below average sized wedding finger, it may take longer for your ring to come into the store, so don’t leave it to the last minute. Going online can often be the way forward, as sites such as weddingbandsforboth.com have a huge range of stock.

Once you have sorted out your venue, it’s a good idea to ask your coordinator what comes with the tables for your wedding reception. Some venues will help to sort the chairs with some beautiful covers, and will provide a table cover and cutlery. But you will want to accessorise the table with some pretty and fun decorations. These should not be left to the last minute as you need to source these items. If you buy them online, you have to allow time for delivery, as well as any potential items getting lost. Also, if you can’t find ones you like online, you may decide to make your own. It takes time, and you will have to source still the materials. Also, allow time for you to find someone to help unless you are an expert at DIY table decoration.

Honeymoon

Most people are so worried about organising the actual wedding, that they forget about the honeymoon after. You will definitely need a decent holiday to unwind after all the stressful months of wedding planning. You and your husband should not leave the honeymoon to the last minute as the cost may go up and there may not be as many lovely hotels available. You should, at least, start researching flights and hotels nine months before the wedding.

You need to make sure you buy clothes and accessories in advance so that you don’t have to go honeymoon shopping last minute. Also, if you want to travel in your new last name, you need to sort out a new passport a couple of months beforehand. Make sure that you allow plenty of time for the new one to arrive.

Remember these important things and you will be all set for your perfect big day.
