Avoid a Caketastrophe
One thing you don’t want to happen at your wedding is a Caketastrophe! Here are some tips to avoid possible upsetting of your precious wedding cake:
1. Make sure the cake is on a study, level table, out of reach of children and in a low traffic area.
2. If making your own tier cake, remember never to attempt assembly until you are at the reception location. You might as well try to balance a glass of water on your nose while driving because that is how much of a mess it will be.
3. Is it getting hot in there? Heat can affect the frosting which in turn can make your cake collapse.
4. If you are adding your own topper make sure it is light weight, and ask the baker to insert it during set-up.
