Wedding Checklist: What You Should Remember When It Comes To Planning A Wedding
The time has now come. You can get those bridal magazines bought. You can let your imagination run wild. It’s now time to plan your wedding. It’s an exciting time for any bride-to-be that is for sure. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the rollercoaster process. I should know, I have planned a wedding myself. So I thought it would be an excellent time to highlight some of the things to remember when it comes to planning your amazing wedding. These are the things that are easy to forget. But can still have a huge impact on your day.
Bridal shoes can be just as much of a statement as the dress
The dress. That perfect dress. The one you’ve been dreaming about since you were a little girl. Just me? I won’t have been the only one I’m sure of that. The dress is important, obviously. But there is a new trend to make your bridal shoes just as much of a statement. This can show off your dress to absolute perfection. You could maybe indulge in a beautiful designer pair of killer heels, or opt for a burst of colour underneath that ivory gown. Whatever you decide don’t be afraid to be different or unique. It is your day after all.
Transport links for your guests
You may think that transport wouldn’t be something you would forget. But the likelihood is that you are thinking about your transportation to venues and not about your guests. I appreciate that this isn’t a problem for the bride. But it can be a real help to put on some transport options between venues. Especially if many of the guests are staying in the same place. You can choose to use companies like Shofur buses who have plenty of options to choose from. It could be a lovely touch for your guests and takes any stress or worry out of the day for everyone.
Where will you get dressed for the big day?
Unless this is an obvious choice, like your family home or your parent’s house, this little detail can be easily forgotten. If getting ready at home or with your parents isn’t an option then make sure you organise this in advance so everyone who needs to be there will be. Like your bridesmaids and your mother. It would be ideal if you were close to the venue, a good option would be the same place you plan to spend your wedding night.
Invitation RSVP’s
Some brides can spend ample time on making beautiful invitations. Often brides take pride in creating these masterpieces themselves. But often a RSVP option is left out. You need to know how many of your guests will be attending and not many will have the thought to send you a card separately. A modern way of doing this is creating a wedding website and allowing your guests to RSVP online. Just make sure you add the details to the invitation so your guests know what to do.
I hope this helps with any wedding planning you have going on. Enjoy the process.
