French Polynesia – Honeymoon Destination
Probably the most memorable of the islands is Bora Bora. The island is small, but the corals are 3 times the size of the island. There are many places to be secluded and a large number of things to do. The island can be reached by plane or by ferry and has an ambiance that few can ever properly describe.
It has a beauty that transcends words. Some of the ways to savor the beauty is by horseback riding. 4×4 driving, a picnic, and they even have a place for shark and manta ray feeding. Have no fears for the sharks and mantas are harmless there.
One of the best hotels and restaurants is Hotel Bora Bora, they have the best BBQ you will ever find. Top Dive is another ideal locale, although becareful for they are a bit on the steep end on process. There is also LAppetisserie and the are somewhat hard to find but worth the search. Another good hotel to check out is Hotel Matra.
Another fun event is to not just enjoy the water events of scuba diving and snorkeling, but also walk on the extensive corals and see the island from a distance. In some spots it will seem like you are walking on water.
Before you leave there is one thing you should do. The one item here that is sold and worth buying are the black pearls. These are a rare thing to find and for some reason they are easier to find here.
